I created a temporary account to assign the duplicate accounts to. I created the account, mapped the "none" to the temp account. I downloaded and accepted 500 transactions. I then deleted the account, assuming there would be some programming built in to sever the connection to "+" once the account was deleted. This didn't work. The next time (after a reboot) that I downloaded transactions, my "none" accounts gave me the same error.</p>
<p>I'm really surprised there is no way to end the external vendor's association with your account. This is actually worrying. It is one thing to trust my passwords and account info with a vendor but another that I lose complete, unrevokable control over it once I do.</p>
<p>I wonder what would happen if I change my password with the bank itself. I signed in to MD and expected my new "+" service to download my transactions automatically. I got zero transactions download.. When I go to my credit unions website the new transactions are there and I can download them the old fashioned way. Same thing for my credit card account. It all says it's downloading but I get nothing.</p>
<p>I see this in the error log indicating my password has change (but I haven't changed anything.) It references some link state to fix the problem but I'm not sure what to make of this.</p>

When attempting to add an account via MD+, I get this screen. While the assumption might be to hit the 'Next' button, it doesn't work. The 'Connect Your Accounts' button does work, but the message 'You Are Fully Connected' is confusing (to me). I think it means I'm connected to MD+.</p>

I've never had a problem with the ofx direct downloads, just the new MD+. I've installed 4045 but it didn't change anything for me.</p>
<p>Also, I've sent Sean several logs in a private thread.</p>
<p>My theory (based on nothing but my gut) is that the initial sign up with MD+ under build 4040 got messed up somewhere. I tried again just a few minutes ago to sync an account through Plaid and the MD+ server responded Success. However, the account is not synced with MD.</p>

I signed up for the + (plaid) option to try it out (first 14 days are free).</p>
<p>I did not have to re-setup my OFX connections. They work normally. I did add a non-OFX US Bank account to the + service. It was was easy to match in the + setup window and works via the individual account "download transactions" menu function. It does not appear to be included in the "download all accounts" menu function, however. I do not see a US Bank "comm" message in the bottom-of-window activity display. My OFX accounts are at Mechanics Bank, Fidelity Investment and Vanguard. I plan to try and add Discover via + today.</p>
<p>I had dropped US Bank's OFX service some time ago as it was not free. I could use the MD built-in browser to view the US Bank accounts, but could not get the built-in browser to download transactions. It appears the + service does not rely on the built-in browser. The first + download of US Bank did get about a year of already downloaded transactions which I then had to merge with the already cleared transactions.</p>
<p>Except for the "download all accounts" maybe not working with +, no problems so far. I have the "tool box" installed, but have not used it yet in this build. It works. It did take some fooling around, however, and has revealed a deficiency/bug. I did the web based authentication/setup sequence twice, because the first time did not bring up anything after my authentication code was accepted - either in MD's + account and matching window or on the web + site window. After the second sequence, with the same results, I did a "download transactions" command for the Discover account. When I started the enter my logon ID and password in the web screen, the MD account matching window opened showing + accounts and there were two Discover entries (right column) without matching account numbers in the left column. I matched one of these to the Discover account and a download occured - that I then had to merge. The deficiency/bug is that I do not see any way to delete the second, unmatched + account which I apparently created with my two tries.</p>
<p>Please note my earlier comment about "download all accounts" not working for + seems to have been in error. I just did an all download and both my +, and all OFX, accounts were queried. Do not know how I missed the US Bank account querry message previously.</p></div>avp2
