Now that some banks and investment sites are restricting direct imports of financial data, I need to import transactions from exported site.

I thought that Moneydance now supported importing files in CSV for mat as well as financial exchange formats, but I'm having no luck importing CSV data exported from Schwab.

When attempt the import Moneydance offers a set of fields toe import that are not taken from the headings in the CSV file.

Am I wrong about the ability to import CSV files?

If I am, it's a much needed feature.

Sincerely,
Ray Reed

    I'm a fellow user.

Moneydance can import CSV into non-investment accounts.

The structure and the way investment accounts work means that a simple table format like CSV are unable to be imported into these accounts.

For regular banks and credit card csv downloaded transactions, if you need to do it all the time, this csv importer lets you set up multiple csv formats that can be used each time you want to.
