Yesterday, was converted from BBVA to PNC. Tried to use existing reminders after making BBVA account "inactive", but clicking on a reminder puts it in the old account. Is it possible to use the old reminders w/the PNC account? If so, how? Or do I have to start from scratch and make a new list of reminders for the new account?

    I'm a fellow user.

You would have to edit the reminders in order to change them to post to the new account rather than the old.

Thanks dwg, found out how to ADD the new account, but not how to get rid of the old, so if adding it looks something like this PNC Bank:PNC1 with PNC1 being the new account, so how do I delete the old one? Or will it now place the reminder in both accounts?

If you have created a new account you do NOT want to delete the old. Yo do so would delete all transactions in the account, destroying category records and probably messing balances in other accounts in other words it would be likely to destroy the integrity of your data.

The way to handle a no longer used account is to mark it as inactive (account info screen) and remove it from the sidebar and summary display.

You have created a new account Moneydance has no way of knowing that it is a replacement for an existing account all it knows is that you have created a new account.

Click on Reminders in the side bar to bring up the reminders screen. Edit the reminders you need to change by double clicking on them, change the account to point to the new account for the reminder to be posted in to, then click on OK to save.

OK, did as you said and it appears to have removed not only the old account from the summary page, but also removed the new account as well. Shows a net worth of 0, but the register page is still intact. Any advice to get this fixed?
