Online account passwords

Every time I try to update my accounts it re-asks for the passwords for each of my 8 accounts (I've already set up the account name and password for each one). Is there a way to make this more permanent? Of note, I'm using the free trial, to see if it works for me. Is this a function of not yet being a paying customer?

    Hi Jonathan,

Moneydance can store your online banking user ID's and passwords.

However, as a security measure, you must incorporate Moneydance's encryption feature.

    To do so, open Moneydance
    Go to File > Encryption...
    Fill out the resulting form.
Check-mark 'Encrypt Data File' and 'Store Online Passwords in File'

You may or may not be prompted one more time for your online passwords in order for Moneydance to 'learn' them.

You will also be prompted now for the password to open your data file.

Per the Moneydance User Guide, there is no means of retrieving it.
