direct connect activations. However, if your account was activated
for direct connect before they turned off support, you should still
be able to connect in Moneydance. We're not sure how long this will
continue to work, but you can try connecting with these
settings:</p>
<p>Institution ORG: HAN<br>
Institution ID: 5959<br>
OFX Server URL: <a href="https://eftx.bankofamerica.com/eftxweb/access.ofx">https://eftx.bankofamerica.com/eftxweb/access.ofx</a></p>
<p>You can enter these by going the Online->"Setup Online
Banking" menu item and then clicking on the Advanced Setting
button. Again, this will only work if your account has already been
activated for direct connections.</p>
<p>If you haven't enabled OFX services with Bank of America
previously, the best way to get your transactions into Moneydance
will be to use a web browser to download them from your bank's web
site. You can download into QFX, QIF, OFX or OFC files (sometimes
referred to as Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import
cleanly into Moneydance. You can also open your bank's download
page directly (after entering the appropriate address in the
Account->Edit Account menu) by going to the menu bar and
selecting Online->Open Account Website.</p>
<p>If your bank decides to support direct OFX connections again in
the future, we will be happy to work with them.</p>
<p>Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank
you for your interest in Moneydance.</p>

also unable to set up online connection with Capital One 360. I am
receiving an error message stating that I am inputting the
incorrect User ID and/or Password. I’ve confirmed that my
login credentials are correct, so I don’t know why I still
can’t connect.</p>
<p>Also, I’ve set up my Investment accounts, but I
can’t get them to populate correctly. I am having the same
problem establishing an online connection with American Funds as
I’ve had with Capital One, and while my ETrade account did
linked online successfully, no information seems to upload.
I’ve manually entered the various securities - Ticker
symbols, security names, and current price - but the program will
not let me edit the volume of shares. So none of my investment
accounts are showing any holdings, and the value of each is still
$0.</p>
<p>This is turning out to be much more tedious than I understood it
to be when I bought the program. I’d really like this to work
for me, but with all of the accounts/transactions that I conduct, I
can’t manually enter everything and keep up. Please let me
know if I’m just not understanding how to work the program
correctly. I hope that this is the case. Otherwise, I may need to
explore my options for a return/refund.</p>

<p>For Capital One 360, you may need to use an Access Code as your
password, instead of your regular password. You can find this on
their website's "MyInfo" page. It should be a 12 character string
labeled "access code."</p>
<p>For American Funds, you should use your SSN as your login name
and your regular website password. That should allow you to
download information.</p>
<p>Hope that helps. Please let me know if I can be of further
assistance, and thanks for using Moneydance.</p>

<p>I have been working with the Moneydance online issues that
we’ve written about below. I am still unable to get American
Funds to work properly, as well as ETrade and Capital One 360. I
really don’t have the time to keep trying to figure out a
workaround for each account, especially with the knowledge that
some of the accounts simply will not sync up automatically.</p>
<p>How do I need to go about returning the app and requesting a
refund for my purchase? I would appreciate your help with this.</p>
<p>Thanks,<br>
Andy</p></div>Andrew Mullinstag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/389410602016-01-24T21:35:59Z2016-01-24T21:35:59ZBank of America<div><p>Hello Andy,</p>
<p>I'm sorry to hear that we're not able to help you. I'm having
trouble finding any purchases in our database associated with your
email address. Is there another email address you may have used
when purchasing Moneydance? I can also search our database using
your billing address.</p>
<p>Please note that if you purchased Moneydance from a third party
site, such as the Mac App Store or iTunes, you will have to go
through that site's process to obtain a refund, as the purchasing
and licensing systems are completely separate from ours.</p>
