Online Banking - download transactions function failed

Upgraded to Moneydance 2022. I was hoping this version would fix my broken connection to USAA to download my transactions. I subscribed to Moneydance+ but it still isn't working. I must be doing something wrong. Please advise.

    just a user - what isn't working, could you describe in more detail?

    I haven't yet tested USAA with MD+ as USAA has worked for me with OFX since February.

    My impression, from reading other posts, is that MD+ can work with USAA, but the 2FA (two factor authentication) can get in the way. So more detail on what you see and such would help me help.

    @Jennifer - FYI we now have a quite simple process to follow to get usaa working with direct connection. If you’re interested in this, let us know?

    To Stuart Beesley: OFX would be our preferred way. Is this a conversation we need to have, or are there instructions that you can pass on. We are long-time MD users, but our USAA connection no longer worked (can't remember the date, but it's been months), and we have been manually entering transactions. We were hoping MD+ might solve our issues.

    Note that there are still references to the older, less simple way to fix USAA OFX ("python script", "script"), but basically the new instructions are now in STEP 1 - STEP 3, the rest is older, but mostly valid.

    In very simple terms:
    1/ Log in to USAA and manually harvest your 36 digit ClientUID.
    2/ Install/run Toolbox extension. Advanced mode. MENU: Online Banking (OFX) Tools. Then option 'USAA ONLY: (NEW METHOD) Manually ‘prime’/overwrite stored Root UserIDS/ClientUIDs'. Follow the screen to enter your UserID and the ClientUID.
    3/ Then use the standard MD Online Setup menu (selecting the 'USAA Custom Profile')... From this point, you are using completely standard MD...
