I do have Capital One accounts though, so I'm mildly interested in the Plaid functionality of +
I'm not going to upgrade without understanding what happens behind the scene though.
Do I need to delete my existing online setup before beginning to use +?
As I am current with online accounts, how many duplicate transactions will I see when I change methods?
What if I don't like it and wish to return to the existing method?
Finally, what's to become of the existing method now that Plaid is available?

gary.hammertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494878892021-11-13T14:41:44Z2021-11-13T14:41:44ZHow Do I to Migrate to Moneydance+

1/ if you’re happy with the current OFX DC method, then I wouldn’t bother changing. There is no real difference (but it costs you more).

2/ yes you have to delete / disable existing OFX DC connections for any accounts you want to use md+

3/ not sure about the duplicates question on your first md+ download.

4/ yup - you can just delete the md+ setup and revert to OFX DC at any time. However, as of yet I’m not entirely sure there is a way to stop your subscription.

5/ I believe you can test all this on a backup/test copy of your dataset and use the 15-day free trial.

6/ IK have stated they will support OFX DC until there are no more banks that offer it.

(Not support, just a fellow user)

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494878892021-11-13T15:21:24Z2021-11-13T15:21:24ZHow Do I to Migrate to Moneydance+

Thank you. I'll just stay with what I'm used to for now.
I also would like to have the pricing info before signing up for a trial.
No point trying if it is more than I'd be willing to pay.

gary.hammertag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/494878892021-11-13T15:26:35Z2021-11-13T15:26:35ZHow Do I to Migrate to Moneydance+

https://infinitekind.com/blog/moneydance-plus-privacy-subscriptions

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)
