Im hoping for some public feedback.

Two screenshots attached.

On the 16th I tried to download AMEX transactions into Moneydance+ and Moneydance showed that the last sync time was on the 10th. I tried this over and over and over. Still Moneydance showed the last sync date of the 10th. I then "disconnected" my AMEX from Plaid and reconnected it. I then had Moneydance download transactions and it downloaded one new transaction and changed the sync date to the 15th.

So is this the way its supposed to work? Something doesn't seem right about this.

And Im running the latest beta. I recreated my Moneydance file from scratch, uninstalled, deleted my entire Moneydance file and backups and directory and reinstalled and its still doing the same thing. Namely, downloading transactions ONCE, but then not downloading transactions again until I disconnect and reconnect the account through MD and Plaid. And this happens with ALL my accounts.

Any ideas Or is this just because its still in Beta?

Jimmy Sledgetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495512742021-12-16T22:31:42Z2021-12-16T22:31:46ZQuestion about MD+, Plaid, and syncing

I guess I forgot to mention the obvious. I shouldn't have to disconnect and then reconnect accounts to get downloads to work? Right? THATS what's not normal I'm thinking

Jimmy Sledgetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495512742021-12-17T05:12:29Z2021-12-17T05:12:29ZQuestion about MD+, Plaid, and syncing

Correct. I use MD+ and Amex too. You should never have to do what you are doing... Perhaps there were no records with Amex for that period.

Next time have Help/Console open, then try again... Se what's in the console log..

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/495512742021-12-17T05:23:08Z2021-12-17T05:23:11ZQuestion about MD+, Plaid, and syncing

This same behavior is happening for all of my accounts. Checking, savings,
other credit accounts.

I was concentrating on amex because I use it so little and I knew there was
one charge not showing up that it's be a good example of my bigger
problem.

I'll paste the console logs when I get a chance.

At best transactions are downloaded days after being posted. At worst, its been a month since transactions have been pulled from other accounts.

I expect a little latency between bank accounts and plaid.. but this seems like something is broken.

andyschmid
