PNC OFX not working after removing from MoneyDance+

I tested my PNC account with MoneyDance+, which required connecting through Plaid and removing the online access via OFX. Downloading transactions worked fine, but (as others have noted here) online payments are not supported through Plaid. So, I disconnected the account from MoneyDance+ and attempted to reconnect with OFX. Unfortunately, I've been unsuccessful so far. The "setup online banking" feature appears to work as expected, but I'm having the following problems

(1) Send Online Payment doesn't do anything. The first time I try, it says "Please wait..." in the status bar, but nothing else happens.
(2) Online Bill Payment causes MoneyDance to lock up. I can't close it using the normal user interface and it doesn't consistently respond to ending via the task manager.

I'm looking for suggestions to restore the functionality I had before experimenting with MoneyDance+. Thanks!

I am experiencing similar problems and not just with PNC, although I am still using MoneyDance+. For PNC, trying to do online billpay used to work (with MD+), but now I am encountering the same things as Kelly.(still using MD+). I get delays when it is trying to display the bill pay dialog. Bill pay does not complete and ends up locking up the UI. I also get delays with multiple different institutions when I am trying to download transactions (sometimes minutes long).

Sometimes I get this error dialog when I try to download transactions:

There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.

Bank Name: PNC Bank - Direct Connect
    Account: PNC Money Market
    Account Number: XXXXXXXXXX

A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server.

I use Direct Connect with PNC and just started getting this error over the weekend when trying to download transactions. Was working perfectly before that. Not sure what's going on, hope it sorts itself out.

By this evening, it seems to have fixed itself. I assume the cause of the problem was likely on the PNC side, but it points out a serious bug in MoneyDance - if the remote payment server isn't responding properly, MD has pauses that are minutes long and even unresponsive UI and blank dialogs. It needs to better respond to communication failures.

I second the report that PNC seems to have resolved their issues on their own.

getting this error for the last week when trying to download transactions for my checking account. PNC had me reenter my mobile phone number but it made no difference. have disabled the connection and tried reconnecting several times now with no luck. about to switch to Quicken which PNC seems to have a deal with based on the tools on the website.
