Moneydance is not downloading my account transactions
Hello,
I have set up my online accounts and connected my Moneydance checking account to my online bank checking account. It tells me I am connected. When I tell Moneydance to download all transactions it seems to go online, but downloads nothing. Also, I am a subscriber to Moneydance+. How do I get this to work?

I am also having this problem. Set up my 3 accounts with USAA, downloaded and populated transactions from 9/1/2021 to current. Yesterday everything ok. Today it appears to download transactions but in fact downloads NOTHING! HELP!!!!!

Hi all,
I'm sorry to hear about the problems you have encountered.
My answer might vary according to the following:
1) The version and build of Moneydance you are using.
To check, open Moneydance and select Help --> About Moneydance or Moneydance --> About Moneydance (on a Mac)
2) The bank you are trying to connect with
3) Where you using the OFX service method to connect with your bank previously?
Generally, you might be required to disable your current connection on the Online Banking Setup screen first, in order to stop the OFX method (if you were using this previously) to take over Moneydance + and allow your transactions to download as expected . To remove the connection, open Moneydance, select your account, then choose Online > Set Up Online Banking and select the "Disable" button to remove the connection.
Then, in the Set Up Moneydance+ window, you'll need to click on the "None" label in order to select which account in Moneydance corresponds to the account names and numbers on the left side of the window. After doing that and selecting the Moneydance account from the menu, using the ⌘D keyboard shortcut or clicking the Download button when the account is selected will cause Moneydance to download the transactions for that account.
Finally, select the Online->Setup Moneydance+ menu again, then click on an account (not the bank name) in the right column you should see a popup menu. If you select the Reset Sync Date entry, Moneydance will prompt you upon the next download to select how far back in time you'd like it to request transactions. How far back the transactions actually go is dependent upon the bank and/or their service provider, but Moneydance will request whatever date you specify.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

just a user - this problem is endemic at the moment - Quicken users can not download credit card transactions from USAA either.
