Cannot connect to Truist Bank
SunTrust has changed to Truist. Truist is not in your list of institutions. I need to change the online banking settings so that I can resume connecting my Moneydance account to Truist to download transactions and pay bills. How do I do this?

I found a work around if you just want to download transactions for free (like Suntrust previously did). It is kind of a pain, but it seems to work. First, download transactions for a date range from the Truist website in Quicken (.qfx) format. Then open the downloaded .qfx file in a text editor. You just have to modify four lines to get Moneydance to open the file:
<DTSERVER>20220305120000.000[0:GMT]
<ACCTID>00001234567890123
<DTSTART>20220228120000.000[0:GMT]
<DTEND>20220305120000.000[0:GMT]
On the three lines beginning with DT, just add ".000[0:GMT]". There are other lines in the file that begin with DT, but these three seem to be the only ones you have to change.
On the ACCTID line, add four leading zeroes "0000" before the account number.
Then save the text file and open it with Moneydance. It should download the transactions into the MD ledger so you can reconcile.

I clicked on the Quicken Community link that you posted above and it looks like on 3-16 there was a resolution to this and that Truist now works with Quicken. Is possible that it will now work with MD?

Select your account then choose Online > Set Up Online Banking.
If you're using Moneydance 2022 select 'Connect to OFX Service'.
If you're using an older version select 'New Connection'.
Then choose 'Truist Online Banking' from the list and follow the prompts to enter your login credentials and specify which account you want to download transactions from.
Truist requires that you enable Direct Connect before you can download your data from within Moneydance. You can contact the bank directly to do this, or enable Direct Connect services on their site. You can find the steps for enabling Direct Connect via their site on page 6 in the following Truist article -
