Disabled account in the online set up but Moneydance keeps trying to download
I clicked on disable in the OFX Moneydance online area but Moneydance keeps try to download transactions from the bank. The account is closed with the bank so it gives an error.
How can I actually disable the sync in Moneydance?

Click the account on left sidebar. Then menu online, setup online banking. Then disable.

I did exactly that, it still keeps trying to download though.

Try this. Load Toolbox extension. Advanced Mode. Online Banking Tools Menu. Cleanup missing online banking links.... and try again..
If that fails, the 100% way is to zap the OFX connection profile (for all accounts in that bank) and then recreate the profile and link just the accounts required...
Toolbox extension, same menu, Delete OFX Banking Service / logon profile.
Then recreate the OFX connection and link just the accounts you want...

BTW, this was on the new 4066 preview release (it worked with the new version).

Yes, even though it said MD version was never than Toolbox.

Well I take that back, the process didn't actually work. After quitting and restarting MD, the issue remains. That account is still trying to download, even though it's closed. I have another open account with that bank but for some reason, I cannot get MD to disable sync on the closed account.

Do you have two accounts in MD with the same account number set or something like that?

Nope. Just two accounts with the same bank, and one of them is closed. Oddly, I can disable the active one and it resets and doesn't try to download transactions.
But, the closed account I click on Disable and it still tries to download transaction.

How do you know it's trying to download?
Run toolbox, online banking tools menu, view your installed service logon profiles... Look through that data.. Can you see where your account is referenced..?

MD prompts for 'this is your first time' and do you want to download all transactions. I select all and then get an error, because the account is closed.
