Amex Direct Connect
Hello, I have read several blogs on IK about setting up a OFX with Amex, and it sounds as simple as typing the account number and the current pw to the login to the credit card at the on-line banking setup screen. When I try that, it comes back that the PIN/PW is not recognized.
Is this correct?
I am on version 2017.8.

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

just a user - I can't really speak to 2017.8, but...
still for credit cards for Amex, you need your USERID and PW - then it will present to you a set of accounts - and you pick the one that matches the account you are trying to link to - and then it should all link up.
If you have an Amex savings account - they do not support OFX for that type of account.
