Moneydance+ multiple accounts of the same kind at the same institution

I have multiple accounts of the same kind at my financial institution. I want to associate each account to its corresponding Moneydance account and there isn't any detail in the list of accounts in the Set Up Moneydance+ popup for me to tell which is which. All the accounts are listed as 360 Savings (USD) -- no account number info.

Yes, we've unfortunately seen this with some banks. Moneydance+ can only display the information that is sent to it, and it seems like some banks only send generic data.

One option that seems to work for a few people is if your bank allows you to give a nickname to your accounts, usually through their website. Sometimes this information is then transmitted through Moneydance+

Without that, unfortunately the only thing we can recommend is downloading an account and seeing what comes through. One method some people use is to create a temporary fake account in Moneydance (Account -> New Account), choose one account to download to there, see what's in it, then disconnect that account, and associate it with the correct account.

Sorry this is complicated; we haven't figured out anything else that we can do with limited data. On the plus side, this should be a one-time setup process.

    Thanks Ethan,

I finally had a moment to test this out and it worked just fine.

    Thank you.
