(FNBO) (First National Bank of Omaha) Downloads
Does anyone have this working with Plaid to download credit card transactions?
When I try to set up Moneydance+ (Plaid) window.
After searching for First National Bank of Omaha and entering credentials.
Browser responds with "Authorizing with our servers" and sits on that page for a very long time, eventually (timeout?) responding with "Something went wrong. You can try again later or find another bank to continue." No diagnostically useful error message presented to the user, but maybe your logs will have something informative.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
I can confirm that the connection with First National Bank of Omaha via Plaid is returning an INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR.
You could try upgrading to the latest preview version Moneydance 2022.4 (4080) now available to download from this page.
You should remove or choose to overwrite the older version.
Finally, navigate to Online menu->Moneydance+ Set up and where it reads "Connected" on the right, click and select disconnect in the popup. Then try to recreate the connection as outlined in this article of the Knowledge Base called Connect Accounts with Moneydance+.
Alternatively, you could switch to using the OFX service as outlined here.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

I've tried all the above. The OFX service does not work either. Plaid works fine with my other accounts, i.e., PNC. But neither connection method works for FNBO.

Sorry to hear about the issues you’ve encountered. I’d like to refer your query to the connection specialist, who will be able to answer your query in greater detail and provide further insight.
In the meantime, you are still able to easily import your data into the program.
We'd recommend you use the OFX or QFX file format if either of these are available. If not, use the QIF file format. You can find the steps for manually importing your data in this article.

Could you also try the following?
Navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions and install the Toolbox.
Launch Toolbox and navigate to Toolbox Options (on top left corner) and select -
Update Mode->Yes->Do Back Up Now (recommended). Then, navigate to Menu: Online Banking (OFX) Tools (2nd tab down).
In the resulting window, under Update Functions you should select :
Delete OFX Banking Service / Logon profile (remove_one_service.py)
Finally, restart Moneydance and recreate the connection as outlined here.
If the issue persists after that, please send us the contents of your error console? Here's how to get the logs:
1) In Moneydance, click on the Help menu and select the Console Window option. This will open the console messages window.
2) While the Console Window is open, attempt to connect to your bank. Any error messages should be recorded to the Console.
3) Select all of the text in the Console and use the "Copy to Clipboard" button at the bottom to copy the text.
4) Paste the text from the message window into a text file (preferably saved with a .txt extension) and attach that file to your response here.
Thank you

I have tried this several times. Each time I delete the old OFX profile using the toolbox, then setup a new profile after restarting Moneydance. And each time, when I select Download Transactions for the account, it opens the setup window again and tries to setup the profile again. It appears to me that it doesn't complete the setup process because after I select Finish the window closes and it never asks for the password.
This is all for trying to setup the OFX download. I attached the console file that resulted from doing the above.
Moneydance+ Plaid connection still does not work either. Thanks.

I assume there is no way to connect to FNBO at this time. Is it on the horizon in the near future?

My credit card was just switched to FNBO. I'm astounded that credit card transactions cannot be directly downloaded in a csv file.
I've talked to two different reps and got the same answer.
Can we say welcome to 1980?
