First Horizon connection fail
Is anyone else having trouble with First Horizon timing out and not connecting? Our other accounts with different banks are working but both checking and savings with FH time out. This began at the start of June 2022 and I have not been able to download anything. I tried resetting the connection, removing the connection and setting it up again. I can access my accounts on their website so password and account name are working.

Hi Roxanne,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
Which version and build of Moneydance are you using?
To check, open Moneydance and select Help --> About Moneydance
Do you use Direct Connect automatic downloads or Moneydance +?
Are you receiving an error message, perhaps?
Would it be possible to see a screenshot of the issue?
You can read instructions for taking a screenshot here:

I was having the same problem with direct connect timing out when attempting to download transactions from First Horizon. I signed up for Moneydance + and have not had a problem since.

I was using an older version initially but upgraded today to see if that made a difference. It is thus the most current version. I do not use plus -- I am using direct connect.
The error message is:
There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.
Bank Name: First Horizon (former First Tennessee accounts)
Account: Account name (I have removed my account name)
Account Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx(I have removed my account number)
There was an error communicating with the server. This could be the result of a network problem, or the server may be offline or not responding. Please try the operation again later.
Error Description: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect
I have been receiving this error since the start of June (but only for my First Horizon accounts), not for my other accounts with other banks.
I have been able to log into my accounts through the web with no trouble.

If you haven't already, you should try to recreate the connection with your bank. You will need to disable your current connection and then recreate it by navigating to the Online Banking Setup screen. To do so, you can follow these steps:
Restart Moneydance.

I completely disabled all First Horizon on line banking with all three accounts. I logged out of Moneydance. I reopened the program, checked that all were disabled. I then worked with just one account to set up on line banking.
I am a First Horizon (Former First TN) customer. There are two options for setting up online banking. I used the former First TN option. This timed out during setup. It still let me complete setup but would not connect.
I disabled the online banking for the account. Closed the program. Re-entered the program. Confirmed that all online banking for First Horizon was disabled. Working only with the checking account, I tried using the First Horizon link. This does not time out but it changes the routing number on the account. I corrected the rounting number, the program said it had most of the information needed to complete online banking and then when I clicked download transactions, it needed me to set up online banking -- in other words it didn't hold any of the data I had entered.
I then tried not correcting the routing number (leaving my account information in but the routing number that the system put in which is 084000026) . My bank's routing number is 064201560. It did the same thing -- not retaining the information.
I'm not sure what to try next.

As I said, First Horizon connects but this one does not..

Sorry to hear that the problem persists!
We have been receiving reports from other customers who are having problems connecting with First Horizon.
The issue was raised both with our connection specialist and our lead developer, so they are both currently working to get this resolved.
We will update you as soon as we have more information about what might be causing the issues, and when this will be fixed.
In the meantime, if you need to update your accounts you can download OFX or QFX files from your banks website, then follow the steps in this article to import these files to Moneydance.

I was wondering if there has been any progress on this yet? I'm still manually entering each transaction every day for 3 separate accounts.
