<p>Upgrading to the latest stable version should hopefully fix the problem for you.<br>
Moneydance 2022.4 (4087) is now available to download from <a href="https://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software">this page</a>. This is a free upgrade for you!</p>
<p>You should remove or choose to overwrite the older version.</p>
<p>Finally, navigate to <strong>Extensions->Manage Extensions</strong> and install the Toolbox.<br>
Launch Toolbox and navigate to <strong>Toolbox Options</strong> (on top left corner) and select -<br>
<strong>Update Mode</strong>->Yes->Do Back Up Now (recommended). Then, navigate to <strong>Menu: Online Banking (OFX) Tools</strong><br>
In the resulting window, under Update Functions you should select :<br>
<strong>Delete OFX Banking Service / Logon profile (remove_one_service.py)</strong></p>
<p>Finally, restart Moneydance and recreate the connection as outlined <a href="https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/online-banking-and-bill-pay/recreate-connection">here</a>.</p>

I was having the same problem as Keston so I tried the above steps. I tried to recreate the connection but after going through the steps to link the account nothing happens. Moneydance says it has the information needed to connect to the financial institution but it never prompts me for a user name/password. When I try to download the accounts, Moneydance says there are no accounts to be downloaded.</p>

(Two or three times if needed).</p>
<p>That will often get the download for me. <p>But, I just remembered something else I do if I have a multiple day 503 issue. Check if Quicken users are as well - that nails it as a bank problem.</p>

The usual experience is a reliable download with no issues. Starting a few days ago, all accounts (checking, savings, car loan, et al) all started failing with a 503 error.</p>
<p>A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured server.<br>
Error Description: java.io.IOException: HTTP Error:503 Service</p>
<p>Based on other comments, I'm going to wait a few more days and see if BECU is able to resolve it. <p>Unfortunately, there are still no updates from Boeing Employees Credit Union (BECU) - and I thought I would suggest an alternative for those of you who already own a license of Moneydance 2022. Since <a href="https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/moneydance">Moneydance +</a> (our premium service requiring MD2022) seems to be working as expected with this financial institution, while, awaiting a fix for the OFX service, you could consider taking advantage of the 14 day free trial of <a href="https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/moneydance/subscribing-to-moneydance">Moneydance +</a>. Not only this will offer you (at least) a temporary solution for automatic downloads with BECU but you would also have the opportunity to test this connection method for yourselves and make an informed decision in the future for connecting with many other banks as well.</p>

I stumbled upon this when I had to adjust my credit card account...old card had fraud and new card was added. The number changed so I had to set up online access again and where to apply manual downloads. But when I was adjusting the settings for direct connect, it went through! So I tried checking and again, it worked! Here's what I did... I selected the account so it was activ e in the register. I then went to the menu bar and chose ONLINE/SETUP ONLINE BANKING. Then selected CHANGE in the pop up window. Then CONNECT TO OFX SERVICE in the next popup. I entered BOE and BECU presented as an option. Selected BECU and then chose Checking (or whatever account you're setting up). I then entered my online credentials and followed along. After it was added/updated, I went back to the register and selected download and it updated!
