Moneydance won't updated changed financial institution password
My bank forced me to change my password (despite the fact that the old one was a high-entropy random password). But once I changed the password on the bank's website, I cannot get Moneydance to update its password for online banking. I re-set up online banking, and entered the new password, but I'm still getting the same error message.

I should note that when I initially enter my password in the "Online Banking Authentication" dialog, the bank accepts my password. It's only when I try to download register data that I get the error message noted above.

Okay, it looks like the problem is, after you uncheck the box in the "Passwords" dialog that says "Store Online Passwords in File," you have to quit and relaunch the app to purge the existing passwords. Then, when you download register data, you can enter the new password in the dialog box, re-check the "Store Online Passwords in File," and you should be good.
