Truist OFX Direct Connect
I created a Quicken direct account with Truist bank for bill pay by following the directions posted on their web site. The connection was successful with Moneydance 2022.1, but it is very fragile. For example, I have a hard time entering payees. When trying repeatedly I was able to add one payee, but still trying to enter a second. The most common error message I get is:
There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.
Bank Name: Truist Online Banking
Account: Truist SigAdv Checking
Account Number: <expunged by me>
The error code reported by the server was: 10501
Phone Number Invalid Length
These are US phone numbers and I've tried various formats. It worked for one case, but not for another. I have also had the message that the State abbreviation in the address is invalid. This is a two character standard abbreviation, I've tried upper case and that seems to work more often.
