Bank Passord Issue

I have used MD for many years now. It's worked well for me until today. I had it set up to be able to download transactions from Wells Fargo Bank. It's been doing that fine. A few days ago, WF made me change my password. I forgot to change it in MD. When I went to download to day, of course, I got an error from the bank that the password did not match. I have tried about 10 times to fix it today, without luck. Say error over and over. I have tried changing and disabling the account, then setting it back up. I have also gone to the WF site that gives MD permission to access my account for 10m. That did not work either. Please advise on what I should do> Thank you.

    Install/run toolbox extension. Online Banking Tools. Second option, view installed service profiles. Study the output, can you see where the password is wrong in this report.

    Various things to try:

    1. Online Menu, Setup Online Banking, Change Password/Pin

    2. Toolbox also has an OFX Authentication Management sub menu.

    3. File/Passwords. UNTICK the option to store online passwords in file, restart MD, reset the option, then try again. NOTE: This will wipe all your passwords, so only do if you only have one OFX connection.

    Stuart, thank you for your help. I ended up just doing a “Forget All Passwords”, then going to a different bank account (I have 2), Setting that back up for Online Banking, making sure it was working after setting it up (it did). Then doing the same thing with my Wells Fargo account. It now works.
