Downloading Account Info
I have been using MoneyDance for about a year and recently started using MoneyDance Plus for downloading and it appears that downloads occur on both regular MoneyDance and MoneyDance Plus when I select download all accounts. So today I tried to download one account only and a dialog box popped up asking if I wanted to download from the custom profile I have setup for USAA or to use MoneyDance Plus. I selected MoneyDance Plus and it downloaded months of already downloaded transactions which were duplicates that I needed to then delete. So since I am subscribing to MoneyDance Plus I think I need to disable the regular/custom download and only use the MoneyDance Plus download method. Can you please confirm and let me know how I would only use the MoneyDance download method?

Using only one methodology (OFX or MD+) is the correct way to go.
If you have both active, disable one and go from there.
That said, for me personally, I prefer OFX to MD+, so, for example, I use OFX (with the OFX fix) for USAA, and MD+ for Schwab (as Schwab no longer supports OFX for non-aggregators.) To put it differently, for me, OFX if OFX works, MD+ if not.
You can decide either way - just disable the one you do not want.

Thanks for responding. I agree with disabling one but do not know how to do that and cannot find where to disable OFX downloads.

I don't have your setup, as I only use "one" per account, but for OFX, you should be able to click a disable button. For MD+ you should b e able to click a disconnect button.
As I said, I recommend using the OFX method, but do what you wish. Just remove one of the two.

If that doesn't work, launch toolbox extension, enable update mode, online banking tools menu, Delete OFX Banking Service and select the OFX profiles to delete.... Might be a good idea to run the Cleanup Banking Links option too...
