<p>I believe that you'll need to use your social security number as
your userID, and your PIN as your password. Could you try giving
this a shot, and report back if you're unsuccessful?</p>
<p>Hope this helps, and feel free to contact me with any questions
about this process!</p>

<p>I gave that a shot but I got:</p>
<p>The given customer ID or PIN is not valid. For more information,
contact your financial institution.</p>
<p>Additional information from the server:<br>
Some or all of the information you have entered is invalid. Please
call toll free (1-800-531-6347) for assistance.</p>
<p>I tried the my SSN and regular password too but that
didn’t work as well.</p>
<p>Thanks!</p></div>brentvp24tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/391982222016-02-18T01:02:47Z2016-02-18T01:02:47ZUSAA Federal Savings Bank<div><p>I put in a ticket to USAA and wrote:</p>
<p>I just switched from Quicken (Mac) to Money Dance (Mac) and
trying to download my accounts. Here is the help I got back from
Money Dance customer support:</p>
<p>Online Banking Enabling Direct Connections<br>
Many financial institutions will require you to enable your
accounts for application-based online banking. You can accomplish
this by asking your bank to set up your account for direct
connections from Quicken. Moneydance uses exactly the same OFX
server connection protocol as Quicken but your bank representative
may not know this and mistakenly believe that you can not connect
in Moneydance. Calling up your bank and stating precisely the
following should get you started. "Please enable direct connect on
my account such that I can connect to your servers directly with
Quicken. Also give me the login credentials I need to connect
Quicken to this service."</p>
<p>Application-based online banking often requires a different
login/PIN than the ones that are used for ATM or web-based banking.
When you enable your account for access from Moneydance or Quicken,
your financial institution should let you know what customer
ID/login and PIN to use.</p>
<p>**So I guess I can use Quicken credentials for Money Dance but I
couldn't get Money Dance to communicate with USAA after setting up
the account. The main problem is they have a User ID box, then a
Password/PIN box which I've tried to put both in, then each one
separate but didn't work. Is there a different User ID and password
I need to use to set this up?</p></div>brentvp24tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/391982222016-02-18T13:53:28Z2016-02-18T13:53:28ZUSAA Federal Savings Bank<div><p>Could you try your Member Number as your username and your PIN
as the password? That should allow you to download
transactions.</p>
