I enabled direct connection but I still can't connect to my credit cards. I have a checking, savings, and two visa cards all with chase which all use the same login. When I put in my login information, the checking and savings accounts show up (as well as several other linked checking and savings accounts for my kids) but no credit cards show up. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice?
thanks,
Guy

    Hi Guy,

On the Chase Credit Card website, on the 'Customer Center' tab, in the 'Reference Center' section, there is an option to 'Activate Quicken, Quickbooks etc'.

Have you clicked on that option?

    Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the reply but there is no 'Activate Quicken...' in the Reference center section. I had followed the link under "checking/savings account service' for 'Financial Management Software' and activated Direct Access. Under credit cards there is a link to download activity an that just takes me to a page to download the activity into a file. I don't see anything for enabling quicken or quickbooks.

Also, note that I was previously downloading fine from all my Chase accounts using Quicken Essentials. Downloading didn't work for MoneyDance until I enabled the direct connection at which time I was able to get my checking and savings but no credit cards.

    Hi Guy,

I've attached a screenshot of the Chase Credit Card website in question.

You may need to log in from the Chase Credit Card website so as to access the required link.

    Guy,

Did you setup each credit card as a New Connection even though Chase is shown as already setup for Online Banking? One has to treat each account as a New Connection.

I give reference to a discussion thread where Kevin has advised the user how to setup such a connection. Follow the thread here:

    Kevin,

I hope you do not mind showing your advice to another user. (g)

Not at all. It saves me some typing. :)

Here's a little trick of the trade when offering links to other posts on Tender.
Look to the post's header and click on the number of the post that you want to link to and it will append the post's identifying number to the url.

Kevin, My screen does not look like your screen shot. it looks like the enclosed.

Jerry, I had tried the new connections but did the "reset" as suggested in the thread you cited and this seems to work.

Thank you both for your help!
