MoneyDance+ Not so Easy to Setup

I just got screwed by Chase when they discontinued their OFX support. So now I add MoneyDance+ to the long list of companies that are picking my pocket on a monthly basis. To add insult to injury, in setting up MD+, my experience is not great.

I have four accounts with Chase and after setting up MoneyDance+ and attempting to link the online accounts with my MD accounts, I get a generic list of accounts with no account identifying information (see account list attachment). I then proceed to rename my Chase accounts on the Chase website--I still get the same list, so no help. I look for a way to un-share all but one account at a time via Plaid, but there appears to be no way to do that either.

If I play Russian-roulette and pick an account from the list, how do I know the imported transaction will end up in the right place in MD?

OK, latest update. After waiting a while, the new account names showed up in the list in MD. So I recommend users give distinct nicknames to each Chase account before linking them to MD+. Also, there is a way in the Chase website to unlink specific accounts--you cannot do this using the MD link to Plaid.

Another note: the first time you download the transactions after connecting with MD+, you will see a bunch of past transactions. I used the merge feature in MD to fix those--looks like that worked. Hopefully future downloads using MD+ will be just as seamless as OFX.
