Importing from HSBC UK
Hi
I can get a csv export from my HSBC account.
How do I import this to my Moneydance account of same name.

Grab an OFX format file from HSBC instead.. Then just double click the downloaded OFX file to import it to MD....

Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers. To add to this useful information I thought it's worth mentioning that we usually recommend you use the OFX or QFX file format (if either are available) as they contain unique transaction identifiers and if you were to accidentally download the same transaction to Moneydance more than once, the ID would be recognised. Moneydance would then ignore the duplicate transactions and not download them again.
The steps for manually importing your data are outlined in this article from the Knowledge Base.
If you haven't already, I'd recommend taking a look at this article from the Knowledge base that details recognising and confirming your recently downloaded data, as well.
