Online Banks Breaks Constantly
I am having a lot of problems with my online banking, it keeps breaking and I spend hours putting it back together. This time I logged in and I got error 200 with some type of 'FID' notation. I followed the directions in the knowledge base to remove the online banking and then run 'Setup Online Banking'.
I select Connect to OFX service, next
I select my bank 'Truwest Credit Union', next
Account: Personal Checking, next
The Routing and Account Number are pre-populated. I am not really sure what 'Customer ID' they want so I have tried my account number, web login and my Direct Connection password (all give me the same result), next
It now says 'Moneydance now has the most of the information needed .... blah blah' , finish.
And then nothing happens. Nothing downloads, no connection or error messages. If I click 'Download' it just brings up the Online Banking Signup in an infinite loop. I have been trying to fix this for hours and I cant find any help and no matter what I do, the same result happens. The console notes seem to indicate an error but who knows.
FI refresh is forced

just a user
unfortunately OFX is being abandoned by many banks, and to exacerabate the issue - they don't even bother to inform their clients (and dropping OFX kills 3rd party bill pay as well)
Just in the last couple of months, Discover, Chase, and Bank of America dropped OFX with no contact to customers. Who is to say for smaller banks?
Sorry I don't have better news. There are alternatives(manual downloads, MD+) but I'll just stop at the information bit.
