I have successfully set up several Plaid connections via MD+. One I'm having trouble with is Ally.
When I go to connect an Ally IRA CD account to a local account, MD presents a list of my *investment* accounts, not my bank accounts. Thus, I cannot make the connection.
I didn't have this problem with my Ally savings account. Also, all my MD investment accounts linked O.K.
Can you advise?

I used the Toolbox to clean up old connections, disconnected my existing Ally connections, then tried to reconnect.
Ally has now implemented 2FA by sending a text message to a phone number, but I've never owned a cell phone. :(
I think I'm stuck.

just a user - maybe you can login to the Ally website, and they may have alternatives in the 2FA versus a text (like maybe an email message?)

Ally doesn't do emails or calls to VOIP phones for 2FA. So, I registered a phone number with one of the free texting apps on my iPad and was able to get the security code from Ally.
Now - having cleaned up all my MD+ connections - I'm back to the original problem.
