Fidelity Login
I have two accounts with Fidelity Investments. A few months ago, fidelity asked us to change our login User ID. To update my User ID in MD, I did the following:
Online > Set Up Online Banking > Change > Connect To OFX Service > Picked Fidelity Investments > Mapped it to the right investment account in MD > Put in my new User ID and password > Mapped to the right account at Fidelity > Finish > Done.
Now, when I try to download new transactions the login window pops up showing the old User ID and does not fill in the password. So, I still have to fill in both.
Is there a way to make this change stick?
And why do I still have to input the password?

Hi Amar,
There is a menu item under the 'Online' menu to 'Forget Online Passwords'. You may need to use that to get rid of the old password(s).

Under the 'File' menu, look to the 'Passwords' item to make sure that all of the required information is entered there.

It's been many years since I last used the 'Forget Online Passwords' feature, and it may or may not 'forget' ALL of your online passwords so be prepared for that with a list of your usernames and passwords along with a good recent backup of your data.

Hi Kevin:
Even though the object that I need to change is User ID, not the password,
I tried the Forget passwords option. It seems to have worked. Thanks for
your help.
