You can export / import your license key between multiple datasets. This means that each dataset will get the same set of md+ connections. No delinking required. Of course, you should only do this if it’s all you managing your own accounts. What I mean is don’t do this on a dataset where you are managing a different person’s accounts etc.

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/575720122023-01-16T17:10:21Z2023-01-16T17:10:21ZMoneydance+ more than 3 data files

So. For example. If I do this.
Toolbox. Advanced mode. Banking tools. Export md+ license.
File / new. Create a new empty dataset. Then toolbox. Banking tools. Import md+ license.

The new empty dataset will inherit the same set of md+ connections.

You still have to map the account to the md+ connection. But that’s it.

Then when it expires you just relink once.

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/575720122023-01-16T18:58:01Z2023-01-16T18:58:01ZMoneydance+ more than 3 data files

I'll try that tonight. What is the hesitation to allow 4 accounts (I'm a
software developer too)?

But a dataset sharing the same connection is only 1 Plaid license.

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/575720122023-01-16T21:26:21Z2023-01-16T21:26:21ZMoneydance+ more than 3 data files

So you would have to up your price to consumers by $1 to allow 4
connections or track how many connections a consumer has and bill
accordingly?
