retirement accounts
Will money bank connect to any retirement like empire retirement for example my previous money tracking software wouldn't connect to some of my accounts. How is the security of the data is 128 or 256 security.

Moneydance can connect to institutions that either support Direct connect themselves or that the aggregator Plaid can download transactions from.
Those that support direct connect can be found:

There is no list for Plaid, that is more of a case of trialing it or someone that does have an account with them looking it up.
Given we do not know what software you were using and hence the support it has it is difficult to know if you would be able to get automatic downloads using Moneydance.
Moneydance supports all of the financial formats for manual downloads.
You can of course download Moneydance and trial it out in trial mode yourself, there is no obligation.
The last information I saw was that Moneydance uses 128 bit encryption.
