Initial connection
I am just beginning with Money Dance. I have input 4 Bank of America accounts and 1 Chase account with beginning dates and balances. I didn't find a "Bank of America" in the list of banks to connect to. How do I connect with these banks so I can download data since the beginning dates and balances?

If you can't connect with Bank of America accounts, then I don't need this software.

Bank of America has recently discontinued their support for new direct connect activations.
If you haven't enabled OFX services with Bank of America previously, the best way to get your transactions into Moneydance will be to use a web browser to manually download them from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, QIF, OFX or OFC files, any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance.

I have recently connected to BOA with Quicken. Does that make a difference?

We you using OFX Direct Connect or "Quicken Express Web Connect". With "Quicken Express Web Connect" you give you user name and password to Quicken's server and periodically Quickens server login into your banks website pretending to be a human to download the transaction file.
