Balance Errors

Hello,

I just created a checking account, set up online banking with my bank , was able to make a connection and download transactions. However, only transactions back to 4/28/16 were downloaded. This has created a problem with the current ledger balance. How can I the complete account history from online to download?

   Hi,

   Many financial institutions only provide the last 90 days worth of transactions during a "Direct Connect" session/download (Direct OFX connection). If "a problem with the current ledger balance" means a problem with reconciliation, you can easily adjust your starting balance by clicking on the Account in question, then click Account>Edit Account, then modify the Initial Balance so that the Account reconciles correctly (You would NOT have to do this moving forward).

   If, however, you would like older transactions from your bank, you may have to manually download them (QFX, QIF, OFX, or OFC (Quicken, or MS Money) Files) from your bank's website and then import them into Moneydance.
