<p>If you log on to the Chase website, you should look around for a
link to activate your account for Quicken, Quickbooks etc or it may
just say Financial Software Access.</p>
<p>It may take a fair amount looking around.</p>
<p>What you will be doing is activating your account for
direct-connect. This is a service that directly connects to Chase's
OFX server. This is likely different than Quicken's method hence
Quicken worked for you but Moneydance does not yet.</p>
<p>Check to make sure that Chase doesn't charge a monthly fee for
this service. Some Moneydance users have reported that they do (I
think that they were Chase Business clients)</p>
<p>Once you activate your account and access it through Moneydance,
you may or may not receive an email from Chase requesting that you
verify your identity.</p>
<p>I'm not a Chase banking client but I am a Chase Credit Card
client so the two should be similar.</p>

<p>To enable the connection with Chase, follow these steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Log on to Chase's site.<br></li>
<li>Click the Customer Center Tab.<br></li>
<li>Scroll down and select the "Activate Quicken, QuickBooks, etc."
link.<br></li>
<li>You'll be asked to confirm the activation. Click the button to
confirm it.</li>
</ol>
<p>You should be able to connect after that. If you still have
trouble, you may need to perform one more verification steps. To do
so, follow these steps:</p>
<ol>
<li>Log on to Chase's site.<br></li>
<li>Go to your Secure Message Inbox.<br></li>
<li>You should have a message asking you to confirm your
connection. Click the link to confirm.</li>
</ol>
