BBVA Compass Bank changing online connections for direct connect
I have received email from my bank BBVA Compass that states I must disconnect my financial management system which they think is Quicken. I would assume there are other BBVA Compass customers using Moneydance that have received the same notification.
I have attached a document with the instructions they are giving for Quicken and I am wondering how to apply this to Moneydance?
Here is the text from their email message:
"What you need to know:
1. This upgrade of service will require Online and Mobile Banking to be unavailable Saturday, December 3rd, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. CT.
2. Please note, this upgrade will impact your financial management system (Quicken/Quickbooks). Please visit http://www.bbvacompass.com/online-banking/quicken-quickbooks/ to learn more about the steps you will need to take within your financial management system and Online Banking before and after the upgrade to the new and improved Online Banking system. The action required will require approximately an hour of your time on December 2nd and 4th.
3. Beginning November 28, there will be a brief interruption to your connection between us and your outside financial institutions until Saturday, December 3rd.
4. The upgrade will require you to re-sync your credentials for any outside accounts when you sign-in to your upgraded Online Banking. You will need your login credentials for all outside accounts you wish to continue to view in Online Banking."

@webyan yes, Compass did "upgrade" my online banking. At that point I changed to the new BBVA Compass connection in MD. I don't get any error messages, it just connects and says there are no transactions to download in a couple of my accounts. I have two checking accounts, which work fine, but the two savings accounts and credit card account don't seem to work, it doesn't recognize new transactions to download.

@mlstephens98 So you are having a different problem than what I was having. I wonder if you should open a new thread with your issue so maybe the MD support folks will look at it. For what it is worth I was able to download credit card transactions from the website https://credit.compassbank.com when my direct connect connection was not working. That site allows you to download a QFX file that you can then import into MD.

BBVA Compass has finally transitioned my accounts to their upgraded software. All of my accounts are connecting and downloading transactions just fine except for my VISA checking account. It seems to connect, says it is downloading transactions and then zero transactions were downloaded. BBVA customer support says the problem is with my software. I told them all of my other credit cards download transactions just fine. Is there something in Moneydance that could be the problem?
