Two credit cards using the same third party
I have two credit cards which use the same third party bank. How do I enter the data so MoneyDance will download transactions from these accounts?

Hi Denise,
There should be no problem as the account numbers and most likely, your Login/password for each are different, even though they are with the same bank..
Here are a couple of Knowledge base articles that may be helpful to you:

How do I determine the bank data required for credit cards processed by a
third party financial institution?

I'm not from Support, but I would use my billing statement to determine who the payments are processed by and utilize the credentials for that Institution. For instance, I know that Synchrony Bank offers a number of retail Merchant Cards (Home Depot, Amazon Store Card, etc.). Even through Synchrony doesn't accommodate Direct Connect, to download transactions, you would use the Account Number on the Merchant Card and download from the Merchant Site. Synchrony Bank, however, performs the Merchant Transactions, not the Merchant themselves. I would suspect that the same holds true for other 3rd Party Credit Cards. The 3rd Party is the actual processor and that is the facility that you want to connect to.
If someone else has any further information, or could provide more clarity, I certainly wouldn't mind you chiming in.

Tony's advice is sound. It is the bank you are connecting. The important thing is you have to connect each account separately as the part of the connection set up is matching the specific credit card account with its corresponding account in MD.
Please let us know if you are having any issues in connecting to the bank.
