Error Code 2000 or 2000:9
I connect to Wells Fargo on a daily basis using direct connect in MD2015. I went away for a trip and upon my return i can no longer connect directly. I get the following message
"There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details of this error are below.
Bank Name: Wells Fargo Bank
The error code reported by the server was: 2000
The financial management software you are using is no longer supported. Please upgrade your software or contact us at 1-800-956-4442 for assistance. (2000:9)"
I called Wells and they said to disconnect the account within MD and reacquire using "New Connection" which I did, but to no avail.
Suggestions??

Ken,
No problem.
I worked for your opposition Digital Equipment/Compaq/HP - follow the acquisition trail.
Alas call handling staff have little or no training these days and a lot do little more than follow the script, getting through to someone. who knows what they are doing is a real challenge.

Uh oh! I believe the 2000 error code is back with Discover card. Hopefully this problem is transient but based on past experience I doubt it. Has anyone else started to encounter the error code: 2000 when attempting to download Discover Card transactions?

I get error code 2000 trying to access a Chase credit card account.
I have 2 other Chase cards and do not have the same problem with them. In may case, i believe it has to do with "upgraded" security at Chase, but getting to anyone who can helps is problematic.

Hi Ray,
We've recently been made aware of connection issues with some Chase accounts. We are continuing to work on a resolution for this issue. For details on our progress, I'd suggest following this discussion thread:
