Send Date for payment I set up doesn't match check account register

I just upgraded from Moneydance 2011 to Moneydance 2015...still using the same bank..no change there.

When I went to process an online payment in Moneydance 2015, I set the payment date for July 1. After I hit send, the payment date reflected in the account register was June 26. Does that mean my bank is going to withdraw funds from my account on that date and send the check out on 7/1?

When I used Moneydance 2011, the requested online payment date always matched what was entered into the checking account register.

    Hi Bill

There has been a change in the current version of Moneydance to show the date that the bank claims they will process the payment on rather than the date the user enters.

When you submit a an online payment to the bank there is a filed set by the bank in their responses which is the date they claim the transaction will be processed on. Moneydance uses this date on the transaction that is entered in the register. For example if you send an online payment and specify a date of July 4th the bank might respond saying that they won't get around processing the transaction until July 5th because July 4th is a public holiday. Moneydance used to just use the date on the transaction that the user entered but it seem more correct to use the date that the bank claims they will use.

What your bank will actually do is not something I can know it is down to their specific policies.
