Hi Box,
Can you try re-creating your connection with your financial institution and see if that fixes the issue that you're seeing? You will need to disable your current connection to your bank and then recreate it using the New Connection button on the Online Banking Setup screen. To do so, you can follow these steps:
1. Select your bank account in Moneydance
2. Select the Online->Setup Online Banking button/menu
3. Click the "Disable" button. If you don't see a disable button, just close the setup window.
4. Repeat the previous steps for any additional accounts at the same institution.
5. Select the Online->Setup Online Banking button/menu (again)
6. Click the "New Connection" button and select your bank and hit OK
7. Continue with the setup process, entering your username/password
Make sure you pick new connection, **even though your bank is still one of the connection choices after you disable it.** Choosing your bank from the list of available banks will force Moneydance to download the updated information, which should then allow you to connect.
Please let me know if you continue to have connection problems after recreating your connection.

Can you please clarify if you tried to reset your connection using the above steps for all affected accounts?

Hi Dan,
Can you confirm that you disabled all Wells Fargo accounts before setting up a new one and used the New Connection button to choose Wells Fargo, instead of the dropdown selector? The New connection button is especially important to make sure you get the newest information.
If that still doesn't work, can you try completely resetting your connection to your bank and see if that fixes the problem you're seeing? To do this, you'll need to force clear the current connection information for your bank in Moneydance. I'm sending a file called remove_one_service.py (or remove_one_service_2015.py if you are running 2015) that will help do that. Before proceeding, please back up your Moneydance data set, just in case something goes wrong. You can use these instructions to create a backup:
http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/moneydance-2014/how-to-move-your-da...
except copy your data set instead of moving it, in order to create a backup. So far, this hasn't caused any problems, but better safe than sorry!
To use the file, first save it to your computer and then follow these steps:
Hopefully, that will work. If it doesn't, let me know and we'll continue troubleshooting.

This last technique was successful.

Ian,
From all the activity seen around connection problems with Wells Fargo, is there any chance of incorporating the work of the Python Script with coding in MD; maybe a Menu choice of Removing an online connection?
Just curious. (g)

Hi Jerry,
We don't have to use the python scripts to remove services very often, so this case is a bit of an outlier, however I'll pass your suggestion along to the developers for consideration.

As someone who has had to use the python script before -- I would second the option of having a "delete connection" setting added.
It always seemed odd to me that a connection could be created, but took an extension to delete a connection.

Azguy6,
That was my thought. In the long run, it would seem to be less work for the IK Staff to continually do if such option (coding) was incorporated in MD itself. Maybe a feature to be added in the next major update of MD.
