Hi,
Sorry to hear of the issue you have encountered while using Moneydance. Can you let me know the version of Moneydance you are using? You can check this within Moneydance by navigating to Moneydance --> About Moneydance.
Can you also try re-creating your connection with your financial institution and see if that fixes the issue that you're seeing? You will need to disable your current connection to your bank and then recreate it using the New Connection button on the Online Banking Setup screen. To do so, you can follow these steps:
Make sure you pick new connection, even though your bank is still one of the connection choices after you disable it. Choosing your bank from the list of available banks will force Moneydance to download the updated information, which should then allow you to connect.
Please let me know if you continue to have connection problems after recreating your connection.

Hi,
If you weren't already aware, Bank of America has recently discontinued their support for new Direct Connect activations. If your account remains enabled for Direct Connect, you should still be able to connect in Moneydance. I have provided the advanced settings below, although we're not sure how long these settings will continue to work -
Institution ORG: HAN
Institution ID: 5959
OFX Server URL: https://eftx.bankofamerica.com/eftxweb/access.ofx
You can enter these by going to Online --> Setup Online Banking. Then click on the Advanced Setup.
If the problems continue the following information may be useful. Another Moneydance customer who's also a Bank of America customer, has been able to resolve a similar problem via the banks website. I'm not familiar with the Bank of America website myself, but have included this customers reply below -
"This seems to be some kind of security procedure just introduced by the BofA but it's easy to get around.
I have a couple of BofA credit cards and have been downloading my transactions via OFX directly into Moneydance for many years.
Early this week I got an error message like the one you describe regarding name and password when I tried to download my transactions.
The error messages said something like "go log in on the BofA website to fix this" so I did.
As soon as I logged into the BofA with Safari, a web page opened up that said something like, "OK, now go back to Quicken and download your transactions. You have 10 minutes to do that." I guess it thinks I've been using Quicken rather than Moneydance, but that's beside the point.
I immediately reopened Moneydance and hit command-D just like always, and all my BofA credit card transactions then downloaded perfectly into Moneydance. Only had to do that once. On subsequent days, there were no such error messages.
Hope the same method works for you."

I was also able to resolve the issue by going on the BofA website although
I had not gotten that error message. Thanks for all the help.
