Investment account duplicates
I use Moneydance to connect to Schwab. When I transfer money between accounts, the transactions get downloaded for both accounts and since it is between accounts they show up twice. I delete one of them, and then the next time I download my transactions, it shows up again.
I can't find a "merge" function like you have in a checking account.
Any other ideas?

Unfortunately we don't have a merge function for investment accounts. Which version of Moneydance are you using, there was a date stamp issue that was fixed from an earlier version that had deleted transactions re-downloading that should be fixed in the most recent build (1279).

Interesting. My updater (extension) says that I am on the latest version. I tired both “stable” and “preview”. Yet if I read the number right I am on build 980, not 1279. I will use your link. Thanks.

I did what you said and upgraded. Now all my account balances are wrong and the reconcile’s are way off. Help!!

Version 980 is from MD 2014 and the version above is from MD 2015. I tried to look up your order but couldn't find it. Those who bought MD 2014 would get a free upgrade to MD 2015.
Did you get your original version from the Mac App store?

well, I have bought several versions. The 2014 I think I did get from the Mac store. In any case I have now upgraded and all is OK.
