Line of Credit data doesn't fit into account type

This has to have been answered already but I couldn't find it. I've been using MD for about six months with no issues but when I went to create a line of credit I (right or wrong) created it under a "Loan" account type. When I went to import the .ofx data file from the bank, MD asked me associate the account number of the .ofx download with the relevant account type - but the "Loan" accounts were not listed - only "Bank", "Credit Card", and "Investments".

Under which account category should a line of credit be created? Or is that the problem - (prior to the first download the bank asked me to choose how to download the file and I selected as "line of credit" because...it's a line of credit)?

Thanks! MMM

Typically banks produce OFX files for line of credit accounts in exactly the same way they treat credit cards. You should create the account as a credit card.
