Sean - thank you for your dedication to making what Schwab did wrong - to make it right. In the midst of the 2021 work, it must be frustrating to take on what should never have happened, and make it a priority.

I have called Schwab, a gigantic company, and asked for an explanation as to why they never contacted their clients, nor all the 3rd party companies (like yours) about this October 16 change, which based on their own words was "planned since January".

I asked why they didn't plan a manual alternative download (vs. just csv). Their responses show that I may want to move away from Schwab - after 27 years as a client.

Infinite Kind (Moneydance) on the other hand, well, you, Sean, has bent over backward, realized the seriousness of the situation, and have probably lost a lot of sleep in the last 3 weeks over this, yet are already positing a possible way forward.

No, it will not be immediate, but you've even opined a possible temporary solution.

I'm gobsmacked. Didn't expect this from a software company charging US$50 for their package, with one free upgrade, and then half-price upgrades after that. And with no requirement to upgrade... (with caveats).

Like if the Mac OS changes and older versions no longer work. Well, a state change. You want to upgrade to Catalina, you may have to pay US$25 - that's a decision.

And now again - this is a state change. But Schwab made the state change. I don't want to upgrade to 2021, as I consider it a beta version (sorry - but that's my opinion), but I doubt (unless you prove me wrong) that I will have an alternative.

But the sleepless nights, the attempts to make this work again. I give you kudos.

I should probably have put this in the Praise section, and will probably do so.

Thanks for your work.
