Previously, I had subscribed to the Quicken Community Forum. Received a couple of messages today concerning the problem that Norton was flagging Q from operating due to the latest updates. HAD used Q for 36 years and got my chance today to state facts. Wished I'd copied my original post so it would be word for word but in generalities made the comment concerning having to call Q support, named the individual that I spoke with and he told me data was corrupt after allowing him to hook remotely w/my computer. He also stated it could be fixed in 30 minutes at the cost of $500. When I expressed extreme displeasure at this, he dropped price to $399. Two days later I found Moneydance. Think I said something along the lines of giving "Quicken the boot after discovering MD." 10 minutes later, my post had been deleted! THEY certainly didn't want MD even mentioned on their site by a 36 year Q user. This began on 7-1-21 and it has taken me until to day to config MD to my liking. Still finding neat and useful features by accident, but so very nice. Love the dependability, quickness, and in 19 days, there hasn't been one update! Imagine that! Anyway, Have found me a new home and just wanted to relate my little story. Really wish I'd found MD sooner than I did. Thanks to all.
