Awesome work (and two suggestions)
Hi team
I'm an Aussie and have been using the local mangled version of what-used-to-be Quicken Pro, now called Reckon something or other, for ages and I'm glad I found Moneydance. Moneydance is awesome, and Reckon is brushed from my life. It's so great to see a team who understand why some people don't want to put their finances in to some cloud app and who actually still use laptop/desktop computers.
One suggestion - do us a favour and add 'Quarterly' to a list of transaction reminder intervals. I figured out how to get a quarterly reminder by selecting monthly and then selecting 'every third', but you've got to admit that that's a bit counterintuitive.
Oh, also. I have a loan which is an interest-only capitalising facility. No minimum payments, just a loan account with a limit. It's like a giant credit card, but it's not a credit card. I've got it set up in Moneydance, but the only template that worked was the credit card template, meaning it's listed as a credit card instead of a loan. It would be great to be able to re-categorise the account as a loan even though it's using the credit card structure so that it appears under 'loans' on the main page. Reckon/Intuit actually lets you do this. It's a minor thing.
Great work, team. Merry Christmas. Stay safe
Cheers
James
