Moneydance makes Quicken look like greedy wannabe punters!

Greetings!

I [was] a Quicken user since the mid 80's when I started my first business and bought my first PC and used them until I finally was forced to migrate to Moneydance in 2019 because of their heavy-handed attitude, forced upgrades, and general poor attitude.

I just read about Quicken's attitude problems getting even worse! They've blocked exporting financial data so that people can't migrate away from them! What a crock! They think they can "trap" their customers and force them to stay with a business model that's so heavy handed it makes the Russian government look like kindergarten school-kids! Now I'm even more glad that I left.

This year I "re-upped" my Moneydance license and what a surprise! The upgrade cost was less than the price of a case of cold cider!

Of course, there are wrinkles - there are always wrinkles when learning a new piece of software - but it does the job and does it well.

The best part of all is that the folks at Infinite Kind are so very gracious, and the people on these forums do their best to provide whatever help they can.

I have been bragging this software up to everybody I know. Hopefully they've purchased licenses too.

Two big thumbs up!

Jim

    Maddy.

Thumbs up to you and the rest of the support staff.

I have done your job, (in a related field), and it's not a chocolate fondue party by any means, (wink!). You, (all of you!), do a wonderful job in a situation where people may be stressed, (Mess with my money? Yea, I'm stressed!), confused, or just plain fed up with the B.S. of other companies - and they take it out on you folks.

Your gracious patience serves as an example to the rest of the business community.

As much as I would love to give you folks a twenty-star review, I don't do Facebook, (I dumped them years ago), and I don't have a Mac.

If you find any other review sites, I will be glad to nominate you folks for sainthood.

    Jim
