Then the new bank discontinued it. Same with some credit cards I have used for years. I realized this was going to be a losing battle and fortunately you were already ready with Moneydance+. I had never tried Moneydance+ and had grumbled over "why should I pay for something that used to be free", but after looking into it I realized the price was extremely low, very affordable, and WOW it works great. I had worked myself into such a corner trying to keep old credit card accounts open that no longer supported DirectConnect (Discover, USAA) and even switching banks as I mentioned. With Moneydance+ I feel like I have my old life back. I can use any of my long time credit cards or bank accounts, and Moneydance+ picks up the transactions. Thank you for this wonderful service and I only wish I had started using it sooner.

Yesterday evening I logged onto my bank's website and saw some transactions that had posted to my account that day. But when I downloaded through Moneydance+ they did not come through. Then this morning I tried again and they did come through into Moneydance.

Is it correct that Plaid connects to my banks and cards and downloads the latest transactions, and then when I click the Download button Moneydance+ connects with Plaid and receives the information? That would explain why the latest transactions don't instantly populate into Moneydance, if I need to wait for Plaid to refresh first before I can pull the latest transactions down into Moneydance.

Is this more or less how it works? Thanks!

Services like Plaid's are not pass through. Plaid does indeed retrieve your transactions at various times, then you retrieve them from Plaid, so depending on when they have last retrieved any transactions there could be a gap. The gap could be a day for example or it could be a few hours.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/551595422022-07-28T22:23:27Z2022-07-28T22:23:27ZJust starting using Moneydance+ and so happy!

Great! That's about what I was thinking. Thank you, dwg!

I can't get over how happy I am to have old accounts downloading again, thanks to Moneydance+.
