Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. ... so here to say thanks
For those not familiar, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated today in the United Sates - a tradition that unofficially goes back to a 1621 celebration with the Pilgrims (European settlers) and their Native American guests. Unfortunately we must gloss over many years of horrendous treatment of the Native Americans during U.S. westward expansion to feel good about this. However, I prefer to not make this a political statement.
Today, most Americans look on this holiday as a chance to meet with family and friends, consume excessive food and alcohol and watch American football the entire day. However, in the vein of the 1621 feast in which the Pilgrims were truly giving thanks (mostly for their freedom, the end of the years-long famine and their native friends who helped them along the way), I'm focusing on parts of my life for which I'm thankful. There are many ... and when I opened MD this morning, I realized it is one of them.
So thank you to everyone at Infinite Kind who makes MD happen and continues to do so. Thanks as well to everyone who answers questions here as well as those who put considerable time and effort into the extensions and such that make MD an even better product. I realize there have been countless unpaid hours involved. Every time I open MD ... and I'm not seeing a Qucken screen ... I am truly thankful.
Again, thanks for all you do. I wish I had found MD sooner, but once I went all in, I never looked back. I buy every upgrade when available, not because I necessarily need it, but simply because it's worth it. I hope this effort continues for a very long time.

And a Happy Thanksgiving to you as well, from another U.S. resident.
