I am new to Moneydance and to Mac. I've used Quicken for PC since 1992 so this has been a huge change for me. I searched for about 9 months for a financial software program for the Mac before I settled on MD. I use the software to track not only my personal finances but the 6 rental properties I own and manage. The switch in computer platform as well as software has been quite the challenge for me but I am getting there. There are a few things that I am still struggling with, such as confidence in the account reconcile (CMD-B), the reminders (trying to figure out the best way to keep track of who has paid rent especially when the tenant has paid a partial payment), and ease of using tags with split transactions. I'm a big keyboard person preferring not to point and click.

With that said, I am extremely pleased with the presence of the tech support staff on the support boards. I see their posts in nearly every discussion when I root around trying to find answers to my questions or problems. That is not common in the software industry.

Kudos to the Moneydance Tech Support people!
