Money Dance 2010 Could be a Mac Quicken Killer

I just switched (testing MD2010) from Quicken 2007 (even after trying the Quicken Essentials joke) and just wanted to say good job! I think if you focus on these major areas you could be on the way to kick Quicken in the debit column.

1) Produce a good users manual. A must for new users (past quicken users).
2) Work on the "setting up a budget" area to EASILY have a 12-month budget with the same or different monthly budget numbers (import from a spreadsheet function perhaps?).
3) Improve the report section with better formatting and printout looks (fonts/sizes/etc.).
4) Online data file backup for Mobile-Me users.

Thanks for finally marketing an alternative to Quicken after Intuit's long neglect of the Mac people!

Keep up the good work,
Marty

    Marty,

Thanks for your suggestions, they are certainly features we are looking into for the future. We are currently hard at work on and will be will be releasing a much improved version of the users manual in the coming weeks. Our feature request and bug reporting system is integrated with our wiki. We invite our users to register and use these systems to help improve Moneydance by bringing bugs to our attention and requesting new features. Users can also vote on tickets, which helps us determine how wide-spread bugs are and which requests have the most demand.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

    Angie Rauscher
