Love MD 2010 / still miss the old homepage icon
I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed with how buggy MD2010 was in it's first release. But I'm very impressed with the amount of work that's gone into it since then, and I'm very happy with the current version (release 748), it does just about everything I need it to.
One thing that I still miss though is the Home Page icon that used to be in MD2008. I know that I can get to the home page via the menu, or with ctrl-shift-h but I still think that a tiny little 'Home' icon always visible in the top toolbar would be a big help to those of us who don't use the sidebar. The sidebar is a nice idea, but it takes up too much space on my 1024x768 screen. I'd much rather go to the home page with one click, and choose accounts from there. Any chance the Home icon can come back in a future build? Please?...

Hi
You are not alone. There is an existing ticket to bring back the home page icon. Here is the link to the ticket:

The trouble is that there are already two graphical ways to get to the home page and 3 seems like over kill. And I understand that for users with relatively low resolution displays it is a problem. My personal preference would be to allow for the creation of a custom tool bar that could have a homepage icon on it or any other items from the tools menu.

Ben,
Actually, I created that ticket. Even though there are already 2 graphical ways of doing it, I don't see why a 3rd way of getting to the home page would be a problem, especially if it doesn't take up much screen space. Just a tiny little icon would take almost no room at all, and would be such a nice convenience. And besides, it would be such a trivial task for the developers to implement. Still hoping...
